Discover David Frias and his beautiful painting that share a confession of the soul’s struggle to rise through pain toward its own eden
Meet David Frias.
David Frías (Mexico, 2005) is a visual artist and muralist whose work explores identity, discipline, and transcendence. Based in Logan, Utah, he blends self-taught skills with mentorship from masters Edgar Uriel Bernal and Isaac Cortez, a three-month intensive at ENPEG “La Esmeralda,” and a printmaking workshop led by Edgar Bernal at the Casa de Cultura de San Rafael.
A graduate of Colegio Cristóbal Colón in Mexico, David collaborates actively with Tanner Stephenson at The Logan Gallery, fostering artistic exchange between Mexico and the United States.
His practice spans pen and ink, acrylic, and stencil, emphasizing the symbolic power of the image. Works like Mírate and Solo lo que soy reflect his philosophy, Edenism: a spirituality rooted in effort, truth, and love, where art and physical discipline are paths to growth.
Pain, for David, is a guide rather than an obstacle. Facing it—physically, emotionally, or spiritually—shapes the individual and fuels transformation. His murals and studio works alike testify to struggle, perseverance, and self-mastery.
David’s goal is to become a complete artist and human being: merging creative excellence with physical and spiritual strength to leave a legacy that transcends borders and generations.
