Class Instructors

David Frias

PUBLIC ARTS DIRECTOR

David Frías is a visual artist and muralist from Mexico whose work explores identity, discipline, and transcendence. Now based in Logan, Utah, he blends self-taught skill with formal mentorship under Edgar Uriel Bernal and Isaac Cortez, alongside training at ENPEG “La Esmeralda” and the Casa de Cultura de San Rafael. Working in pen and ink, acrylic, and stencil, David’s practice centers on the symbolic power of the image and his guiding philosophy, Edenism—an approach that views effort, truth, and love as paths to growth. His murals and studio works reflect a belief that struggle and perseverance shape the individual, and he brings that same commitment to his role at the gallery, where he fosters artistic exchange between Mexico and the United States.

Tanner Stephenson

GALLERY OWNER

Tanner Stephenson built his career traveling the country, selling his pop art in mass quantities at art shows nationwide. With more than 115 murals completed coast to coast, he has established himself as both a prolific creator and a champion of public art. Tanner founded The Logan Gallery with the vision of creating a community-centered space where people could gather around a shared love of art and music. His mission is to help artists thrive—shattering the “starving artist” stereotype by connecting creators with meaningful markets, empowering them to build sustainable careers, and supporting a community where art enriches everyone it touches.
