March Theme: The Art of Seeing

Learning to Observe, Draw + Think Like an Artist

This month focuses on observation skills — helping students shift from symbolic drawing (what we think things look like) to perceptual drawing (what we actually see).

This is the foundation of all artistic growth.

Students will:
• Practice observational drawing
• Strengthen hand-eye coordination
• Learn proportion and shape relationships
• Develop confidence in realistic rendering
• Build patience and focus
