ABOUT THE LOGAN GALLERY

Supporting Cache Valley Artists + Musicians

Where it Happens in Cache Valley

The Logan Gallery redefines what it means to live as an artist. We create opportunities for Cache Valley creatives to thrive through our gallery exhibitions + community events, e-commerce channels, and public art installations. We exist to support a vibrant culture where art is valued, creators are backed, and our local talent shines beyond Cache Valley.

Our Story

The Logan Gallery was born from a shared dream: to create a home for art, music, and creative community in the heart of Cache Valley. After years of traveling the country selling art and painting murals, owner Tanner Stephenson envisioned a space where artists could thrive—not just survive—and where the community could gather around meaningful, inspiring work. When David, MacKenzie, and Kevin joined the project, the vision expanded into something bigger than all of them.

What began as an empty building on South Main quickly became a movement—bringing together artists, musicians, makers, students, and supporters who all believe in the power of creativity to transform a city. The Logan Gallery continues to grow as a place where new artists are discovered, long-time artists are celebrated, and the community is invited to be part of something vibrant and real.

Our Values

Community – We believe art is strongest when shared. Everything we do is rooted in connection.
Opportunity – Artists deserve pathways to sustainable careers, not stereotypes of struggle.
Creativity – We celebrate curiosity, experimentation, and authentic artistic voice.
Collaboration – We grow together—artists, musicians, instructors, students, and supporters.
Accessibility – Art should be approachable, inclusive, and available to everyone.
Education – From classes to workshops, we nurture skill-building at every level.
Integrity – We show up for our artists and our community with honesty and respect.

Our Gallery Team

  • Tanner Stephenson

    GALLERY OWNER

Tanner Stephenson built his career traveling the country, selling his pop art in mass quantities at art shows nationwide. With more than 115 murals completed coast to coast, he has established himself as both a prolific creator and a champion of public art. Tanner founded The Logan Gallery with the vision of creating a community-centered space where people could gather around a shared love of art and music. His mission is to help artists thrive—shattering the “starving artist” stereotype by connecting creators with meaningful markets, empowering them to build sustainable careers, and supporting a community where art enriches everyone it touches.

  • MacKenzie Maness

    MARKETING DIRECTOR

MacKenzie Maness brings a strong background in branding, entrepreneurship, and marketing—helping artists and makers launch their first businesses with clarity and confidence. Known as “the brains of the operation,” MacKenzie joined the gallery out of a deep love for art and co-creation. Since stepping into her role, she has fallen in love with the gallery’s mission and community, finding her own artistic expression expanding from digital design into weekly painting and drawing sessions with fellow local artists. MacKenzie is passionate about shaping the gallery into a true third space for Logan—a place of discovery, connection, and opportunity—while continuing her mission to support emerging creators and strengthen Cache Valley’s growing arts culture.

  • David Frias

    PUBLIC ARTS DIRECTOR

David Frías is a visual artist and muralist from Mexico whose work explores identity, discipline, and transcendence. Now based in Logan, Utah, he blends self-taught skill with formal mentorship under Edgar Uriel Bernal and Isaac Cortez, alongside training at ENPEG “La Esmeralda” and the Casa de Cultura de San Rafael. Working in pen and ink, acrylic, and stencil, David’s practice centers on the symbolic power of the image and his guiding philosophy, Edenism—an approach that views effort, truth, and love as paths to growth. His murals and studio works reflect a belief that struggle and perseverance shape the individual, and he brings that same commitment to his role at the gallery, where he fosters artistic exchange between Mexico and the United States.

  • Morrigan Hayes

    GALLERY MANAGER

Morrigan Hayes is a visual artist and Gallery Manager at The Logan Gallery whose work explores the human figure through oil, acrylic, and charcoal. Her layered painting process blends expressive underpainting with refined detail, creating portraits that examine identity, presence, and emotional complexity. Morrigan’s work often centers gender-fluid and androgynous subjects, inviting viewers to reflect on authenticity and belonging. Born in Montana and now based in Cache Valley, she draws from personal narrative and lived experience to shape her artistic voice. As Gallery Manager, Morrigan brings her passion for art, community, and mentorship to support emerging artists and cultivate a welcoming creative space.
